Betty + Andrew (feature highlights)

(Mar 2014, Sydney) A beautiful wedding feature highlights of Betty and Andrew. The day began with a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony followed by a civil ceremony taken place at Chinese Garden of Friendship. Reception was taken place at Fat Buddha Chinese Restaurant. It was awesome working with Vincent Lai (the photographer) and the team from Faces makeup and hair (hair and makeup), and the civil marriage celebrant Linda Marsden.

Elizabeth + Andrew’s wedding highlights (Sydney)

I really loved and enjoyed filming Elizabeth and Andrew’s wedding. Fun, smiles, tears, sadness all happened in a day. Remarkable and unforgettable. Like other weddings that I filmed, it’s truly candid, no posing or acting, simply captured the true moments of the day. I hope you’ll like this highlights as I do.

You can watch their film here:

Joanne + Calvin – highlights of the day

I filmed Joanne and Calvin’s wedding in a beautiful day back in October this year. The ceremony was held at Eden Gardens and the reception was held at The Deckhouse at Hunter Hills. It was also the Fleet Festival Sydney on the day and luckily we could see the stunning firework in one of the best spots (I reckon).

I love this highlight video so much and Calvin’s vows was really touching. I hope you’ll like it as I do.

World Heritage Exhibit Built with Lego Brick

Okay, this isn’t related to wedding or videography or filming whatsoever, but it’s a fantastic exhibition that I recently been to. I only captured few photos as my camera was running out of battery on that day. I found this exhibition in a kind of Westfield shopping mall in Hong Kong when I was going to buy some breads for breakfast. Enjoy.

Traditional Wedding

I love to shoot traditional weddings, no matter Chinese, Vietnamese or Cambodian ones. I always find heaps of fun, love, and tears in these weddings, the basic elements to make a wedding video (or film if you like) looks great. Recently I completed a wedding video for Kerrie and Tin, a traditional Vietnamese wedding, every single bit and pieces impressed me and the most amazing thing was the effort that the bridal party and groomsmen had put in. Here shows the highlights of Kerrie and Tin’s wedding and I hope you enjoy it like I do.

One day, a client asked me “What’s the perspective of shooting my wedding ceremony?”. It was the first time I was asked about “my perspective” that I never prepared to answer. Well, a second after I made up an answer but obviously that wasn’t good enough, I knew because I didn’t get the job. If I got a second chance to answer the same question again I would have known the answer, simply discreet, discreet and discreet. This latest highlights video of Chelsea + Brady tells.
